Shipping & Returns

Shipping:

Orders placed by 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time Monday-Friday will normally be shipped the same day.  Our goal is to get your selections to you quickly.

Vertical Avionics uses UPS and USPS services to deliver the majority of its products.  Shipping fees are calculated on the checkout page based on the items in your cart.

 

Out of Stock items:

If an item is out of stock or a special order we will notify you by e-mail if it cannot be shipped within three days of the date the order was received.

 

Shipping exceptions:

Hazardous material.  Some items contain components that cannot be shipped via air and must travel by ground.  Such items include, but are not limited to, Lithium-Ion batteries, pressurized cartridges, reactive chemicals, and aerosol products.  These items are not available for shipment via air or outside the United States.

 

Shipments outside the continental United States:  Extra shipping charges may apply for shipments to AlaskaHawaii, FPO/APO addresses, U.S. territories, or other countries.  Some products with hazardous materials may not be shippable to these locations.  Free shipping offers are good for the United States and Canada only.

 

Returns:

We back what we sell.  If you must return an item for any reason the first step is to obtain a Return Merchandise (RM) number.  To obtain an RM number, call us at 1-877-805-7575, or e-mail us at sales@verticalavionics.com

We will need the following information to properly account for the return:

  • Your name, email address, and daytime number
  • Invoice number
  • Product being returned
  • Date the product arrived
  • Reason for return

Return guidelines:

  • Item(s) must be returned within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • All returns must be 100% complete.  This includes all original boxes and packing materials, manuals, promotional materials, accessories, and documentation.
  • You are responsible for return shipping. 
  • Shipping damage: If a product appears to have been damaged in shipping, Vertical Avionics must be notified within ten (10) days of receipt.  The shipper must inspect the merchandise and box in which it was shipped.
  • Product defects should be directed to the manufacturer for warranty service.
  • Items returned not in original packaging and in resalable condition may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Once we receive your return, please allow ten (10) business days for us to process it.
  • After 30 days if a defect is found in a product, contact the manufacturer for assistance.
