External aircraft lighting systems for most experimental aircraft are two things, expensive and little used. Unless you are flying your plane frequently at night or in IFR conditions, external lights are something you need some of the time, but not all the time. When we looked at lights for our own aircraft, the cost just did not match up with how much night flying we wanted to do.
We designed a strobe control unit and built an LED light system for our own plane. We are offering the same units we used for our experimental aircraft at prices we hope do not leave you with sticker shock.
